Consistency Rules

  • E8 One, Classic and Track: A consistency rule of 40% applies, meaning that one trading day cannot equal or exceed 40% of the total profits made.
  • E8 Signature: A consistency rule of 35% applies, meaning that one trading day cannot equal or exceed 35% of the total profits made.

Trading Restrictions

  • Risk Management: Risking your entire account balance on a single trade is not permitted. Excessively risky trading styles violate terms and will result in account termination with a full refund.
  • Hedging: Hedging across multiple accounts, even those belonging to the same trader, is strictly prohibited.
  • Risk Exposure Limitation: E8 reserves the right to de-risk trading strategies by limiting risk exposure to no more than 2% per trade idea or time horizon if prohibited practices are detected.
  • Independent Evaluation: Each trading evaluation must be completed independently.

News Trading

  • Evaluation Accounts: Allowed.
  • Funded Accounts: Not allowed within 5 minutes before or after high-impact news.

Stop Loss

  • Stop Loss & Take Profit: The use of stop loss or take profit orders is not required — it’s entirely up to you and your strategy.
  • However, data shows that traders who use stop losses tend to be more successful in the long run. For this reason, using stop losses is highly recommended.

Weekend Holding

  • Signature Program: Overnight and weekend trading is not allowed.

Drawdown

  • EOD Trailing Drawdown

Time Limits

  • There is no time limit, but you must place and close at least one trade every 60 days to keep your account active.

Minimum Trading Days

  • No minimum trading days are required.

Lot size / Margin Rules

  • FX and Indices: Maximum of 50 lots per order.
  • XAUUSD: Maximum of 20 lots per order.

Copy Trading

  • Allowed: You can copy trades from or to your personal account, another account, or even between multiple E8 Trader accounts, or between an E8 Trader account and an evaluation account (as long as these are your own trades from your own account).
  • Restriction: You cannot copy trades (or use the same trading ideas) between multiple E8 evaluation accounts. Each evaluation must be done independently.

Expert Advisors (EA)

  • Allowed: You can use any EA (Expert Advisor) as long as multiple users are not executing the same trades or strategy. Only one strategy per user is permitted. If multiple users are found using the same EA, it may result in account termination. While third-party EAs are allowed, it is recommended that each user utilizes their own programmed EA.

Inactivity Rule

  • After 60 days of inactivity, the account is disabled and there is no entitlement to a refund.

Martingale

  • Yes, traders are allowed to use the martingale strategy.

Profit Split

  • Signature Program: A consistency rule of 35% is required, with a minimum of 5 trading days achieving at least 0.3% each. A 4% buffer is mandatory and cannot be requested as part of the payout.
  • Other Programs: A consistency rule of 40% applies, and your net profit (payout share) must be greater than 50% of your daily drawdown.
  • E8 One: If your profits exceed the Trailing Drawdown, you can request a payout. However, you must leave enough funds as a drawdown buffer, since removing all profits will trigger account closure.

Minimum Payout

  • Rise – $312.50, Plane – $62.50.

Maximum Payout

  • Signature Program: Maximum per payout – 1st & 2nd: 2.5% each, 3rd: 4.5%, 4th: 5.5%. From the 5th payout onward, up to $25,000 per account.
