Consistency Rules

  • None

Trading Restrictions

  • One-Sided Bets: Placing trades in just one direction without real analysis or awareness of market context is considered reckless behavior. It exposes your account to unnecessary risk and goes against the principles of disciplined trading that Instant Funding stands for.
  • Grid Trading: Grid strategies—where buy and sell orders are stacked above and below a price level to catch market swings—are not supported. While they can look systematic, they often rely purely on volatility rather than informed decision-making. This approach is treated as high-risk and unsustainable within our funded structure.
  • High-Frequency Trading (HFT): Trades held for under 60 seconds or excessively high trade counts within short timeframes are classified as HFT. These techniques may create unfair market advantages and conflict with our fair trading standards. Instant Funding does not permit HFT. Accounts showing such patterns will be reviewed, and corrective action may be taken if needed to ensure fair use of our systems.
  • Overleveraging: Overleveraging occurs when a trader exceeds the maximum lot size permitted for a specific account type. For example, on a $100,000 Instant Funding account, the limit for forex pairs may be 40 lots. Opening 20 lots on EURUSD and 20.5 lots on GBPUSD (totaling 40.5 lots) exceeds this limit and is considered overleveraging. Adhering to these limits helps maintain controlled risk exposure and long-term sustainability.
  • Gambling and Excessive Risk: Risking more than 3% of the account balance on a single trade idea is regarded as gambling and represents a breach of Instant Funding conditions. Controlled risk management and consistent decision-making are essential for maintaining a funded account.
  • Reverse Trading and Group Hedging: Opening opposite positions across multiple accounts or coordinating trades with others to hedge risk is not allowed. Each trader is expected to operate independently to maintain fairness and integrity in the trading environment.
  • Group Copying and Account Management: Using identical EA settings as other traders or allowing someone else to trade an account constitutes account management and is prohibited. Every funded account must be traded by its verified owner in compliance with KYC/AML standards.
  • Account Churning (Rolling): Repeatedly opening and closing multiple funded or challenge accounts within a short time frame—often following high-risk trades—is considered account churning. This behavior violates principles of discipline and consistency and may result in restricted access to future accounts.
  • Exploiting System or Platform Glitches: Exploiting system delays, feed discrepancies, or pricing errors is prohibited. All trades must reflect genuine market activity under normal conditions.
  • Exploiting Platform Inefficiencies: Strategies such as latency arbitrage, reverse arbitrage, gap trading, tick scalping, or any manipulation of toxic order flow are not permitted within the Instant Funding framework.

News Trading

  • Major News Trading: Trading during major news events can cause extreme volatility and unfair outcomes. To protect all traders, orders opened or closed within 4 minutes before or after a major event are restricted. Profits from such trades may be adjusted or removed. This rule doesn’t apply to micro accounts or products with a Major News Add-On. For full details and the list of affected events, please check our Major News Policy.

Stop Loss

  • Stop Loss is not required.

Weekend Holding

  • Over Weekend: Enabled for phases one, and two of all our challenges, Two-Phase Max, Instant Funding Micro and One-Phase Micro products, and accounts with a major news trading add-on.

Drawdown

  • Initial Drawdown: The account begins with a maximum drawdown limit set at -10% of the starting balance. This limit defines the total loss allowed before a breach occurs.
  • Drawdown Adjustment: After achieving a 5% balance gain, the drawdown automatically adjusts to -5% of the initial balance. This adjustment locks in a portion of the progress, helping to preserve profits while maintaining controlled risk.
  • Post-Adjustment: Once the drawdown has been adjusted, it remains fixed at -5% unless further scaling occurs. This ensures a consistent and predictable risk threshold for the remainder of the trading phase.
  • Scaling Impact: When the account is scaled, the drawdown recalculates to -5% of the new scaled balance, excluding any profits. This mechanism keeps risk proportional to account growth and supports sustainable scaling over time.

Minimum Trading Days

  • There are only 3 minimum trading days on the challenge accounts

Lot size / Margin Rules

  • There is a maximum lot size rule. Check the FAQ on Instant Funding to see the accurate size limits.

Copy Trading

  • Copy Trading Between Unrelated Accounts: Copying trades from accounts not owned by the trader—manually or via automation—is not allowed. Copy trading between a trader’s own accounts, whether across prop firms or brokers, is permitted.

Expert Advisors (EA)

  • Use of Public Expert Advisors (EAs): Publicly available third-party EAs are restricted. Traders are encouraged to use private or custom-built EAs that reflect their individual strategy and trading approach.

Inactivity Rule

  • Maximum inactivity period: 60 days.

Martingale

  • The strategy involves increasing positional notional volume after each trade, aiming to recover previous losses or amplify winnings on subsequent trades. This involves doubling down after a losing trade. Martingale trading is allowed for all challenges and Instant Funding Micro accounts. For Instant Funding accounts, traders can add to losing positions but must avoid continuously doubling lot sizes after losses.

Profit Split

  • The profit split improves over time:
    – 5–13 days: 60% profit split
    – 14–27 days: 80% profit split
    – 28 days or later: 95% profit split

Minimum Payout

  • The minimum amount for withdrawal is $25.

Maximum Payout

  • No maximum.

Payout Policy

  • For Instant Funding accounts: Your first withdrawal is available 14 days after your initial trade. After that, you can withdraw every 7 days following your next trade.
  • For One-Phase, Two-Phase, Instant Funding Micro, and One-Phase Micro simulated funded accounts: you can use On-Demand Payouts to withdraw profits whenever you qualify, without waiting for scheduled dates.
  • For Two-Phase Max accounts: Withdraw your profits whenever you like.
